Good "constructive" bridge toy for a 5 year old?
My child is in kindergarten this year. He is a little obsessive compulsive, but it serves him. His favorite activity is constructing bridges. He uses sashes from bathrobes- putting one end in a drawer(and closes it) and put the other end on a table (and weights it down) so he can run hot wheels over it. If he gets tape, the tape gets turned into a bridge (and ruins a roll of tape)
When he was into the Lincoln logs, he was building buildings with pathways. He is very into pathways, tunnels, bridges.
What kind of construction toy (we already have Legos and the mega blocks) is the best to construct pathways and bridges? I don't worry about him swallowing pieces, but stuff does get left on the floor- so it can't be fragile.
Can you suggest a good toy?
