Anyone Else Figure Out David Lynch's Mulholland Drive?
You know, Rita/Camilla is Jesus, Diane/Betty is Judas, Adam is Mankind, the pool is the garden of eden, blue is sacred, pink is profane, the "real" world is the spiritual world while the physical world is just a "dream" ...... and what was the clue that did it for you? For me it was the raised skull and the flickering light (I am the resurrection and the light) and Adam referring to "the Manager" as his "mother" (instead of father - in keeping with the adjusted gender roles of Jesus and Judas characters) confirmed it.
I think that is a pretty good analysis. There are lots of websites out there with different theories of what it all means.
