my friend's four yr old boy?
can reconize about 40 words (cat dog,rattle, chimpanzee, elephant etc) point out 30 countries on the world map, answer questions like who invented the light bulb, first man to walk on the moon, who ran the marathon of Hope, who's the prime minister of Canada, who's the Pres of the U.S, tallest mountain in the world, longest river in canada, what's the name of the waterbridge in Germany, he even knows the order of the solar system plus a bunch more maybe another 30 big questions he can answer
what do you think about this? how can he comprehend all this? I know she doesn't push him too much b/c he even has a lot of toys even a playstation 3 that he plays, but do a lot of children remember these things, honestly a lot of ppl don't know the all the answers to this, is he special or does he just have a good memory
My two year old knows 30 animals, 40 ++ sign language signs, and about 70 words (apart from animals). She also can count to 10 and knows half her alphabet. Kids are sponges, if you show them, they will learn. Nothing amazing about your friend's son in particular, he's just a knowledge hungry kid. Good for him.
