Does anyone have any good hand puppet designs with an opening mouth and closing mouth?
how do I go about making a professionally made puppet with a moving mouth, and wire hands. I made a few, and I thought they turned out.....okay, but I want to know how to make a GOOD one! plz help

A LOT of what you'll find are ministry related (church puppets....nothing exciting there, they go with the cheapest and simplest to make) so keep looking. You're likely looking for rod puppetry instead of glove puppetry or ventriloquist dummies. There's a wide range in types of puppets to make, and you can blend and mesh different types to do something original.
Patterns, those are harder to find, but if you've already started making some, I'd suggest rooting through these sites, then talking to puppetry makers online.
I've done hand puppets, glove puppets with hard heads, rod puppets and wanted to try some of those oriental full body puppets moved by a 'man in black' but haven't worked on any quite that large yet. It's fun, and the internet can help you network.
