Any ideas on how to make bubbles for a 3D rubber ducky cake?
I am making the cake for my cousin's baby shower and I am trying to figure out how to make bubbles to go around the rubber ducky cake. This is what it is going to look like http://www.wilton.com/shapedpan/3-D-Rubber-Ducky-Pan (The one pictured right by the pan) I want something to put around the base of the cake to look like bubbles and maybe water. Preferably edible. The only idea i have so far is to make balls out of white fondant and place them around the duck. Any ideas or suggestions?
Try icing Little Debbie "snow ball" cakes.. In the lunchbox treats isle... They are rounded cake and come in chocolate and strawberry flavors...
Or whipped egg whites -- You could whip the egg whites with cream of tartar and make it look soapy bubbly or frothy....
