Is my 1 year old really smart?
Is he smart or just average? I don't know if I'm just being a "hey look what my baby can do!" kind of mom, but yesterday I gave Lucas a little stuffed bunny and out of a pile of toys he was playing with in his sister's room, he picked up another bunny. (He just turned 1 on the 17th.) Before he turned 1 he knew where his shoes and socks went (though he has no idea of how they go on)
I just love the fact that he can pick two of the same things out. It's so cool.
Omg my son is 11 months will be one in a week and i was thinking that about him ...I wasnt sure if it was normal or if he was just smart...The other day i took my phone charger out of the wall plug (i put those outlet covers in once the charger was out) and i placed it on the couch and went to the bathroom as im coming out i see him trying to stick the charger in the wall plug...(thank god it had the cover on) but i was so amazed that he knew that...then the other day i put my spongebob pjs on and he kept pointing at them and my sons father said where is sponge bob and he looked at my pants and pointed to them....he does other stuff to that just amazes me when he was about 8 months old he seen his cousin playing with a truck and saying broom broom and then all the sudden he picks up a car and starts doing it at my house i couldnt believe it...i think my son is smart and i think your baby is smart too...i see one years olds that dont do things like that and i see some that do!
