Tummy Time Mat
My 3 month old baby HATES tummy time! She cries and yells the whole time. How can I make her enjoy it?
I try to put toys in front of her, i even bought a baby mirror so she can look at herself. She just pushes her face into the mat and screams. It's pretty pathetic to watch lol Will she grow out of this? Any ideas as to how to make it more enjoyable for her?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! xoxo
My baby girl did the same thing for a short while. I didn't force it on her, but tried it a little bit at a time...as soon as she fussed no more tummy time. When my baby girl was about 3.5 months I put her on her back first and played with her for awhile. And when she was really distracted with playing and was happy I would slowly help her roll onto her tummy. She was having so much fun that I don't think she really noticed. Keep tummy time short in the beginning, don't wait till she gets irritated.
