Wierd 1980s stuffed toy (furry puffball with glowing LED eyes and shrill noise)-- what was this called?
In the mid to late 80s, my older sister got this odd plush stuffed toy. It was a light purple puffball, about the size of a football. It had tiny LED eyes, and no mouth or limbs to speak of. It took a 9 volt battery, and its eyes would glow (yellow or red) and it would emit a shrill eerie sound.
My memories of it are pretty vague, as I was young and a little bit scared of this odd possessed-looking creature. But I just remembered it last night, and for the life of me, I can't remember what it was supposed to be called (I'm sure it had some sort of name), but hopefully someone here will know what I'm talking about.
Any ideas?

It wasn't a Popple either.
The Chubbles friend Chiggles seems very very close. That may be the toy I'm thinking of, though my mind keeps saying it didn't have any arms or anything.
