My babies first feeding...?
My daughter is four and a half months old, and is ready to be introduced to rice cereal.
I have two different kinds that I'm thinking of giving her and I'm not sure about one of them for a first time feeding...
I have Earths Best Organic Whole Grain Rice Cereal... Which just sounds yucky and bland to me... So I also bought Gerber Cereal for baby and Toddler, Rice and Mixed Fruit, made with Whole Grain... This sounds SO much more appetizing to me and I was just wondering if this Cereal would be safe for her first feeding?

You should start with the bland cereal diet. When first starting to introduce solids you have to be on the look out for food allergies. The second one you listed (Gerber) has rice and different fruits in it. If you feed this to your child and she has a reaction, you won't know what caused it. You should always introduce one food at a time (one ingredient at a time) and feed that same food for 5 days or so to ensure she isn't having a food allergy reaction to it.
