Interesting, made in the US, but distributed in Canada.
Sorry, but this makes me think buying organic isn't a great idea - unless it's fresh food. There's something to be said for having preservatives, in moderation!

I totally understand what organic means. However, I meant there is something to be said for having something to extend shelf life - case in point, this recall.
Organic foods are produced according to certain production standards. For crops, it means they were grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers, and that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food additives.

Thanks for the info, more to show my MIL who keeps trying to push organic cereals for all the grandkids (none of us have done it and there are 5 healthy grand kids in total). At 6 months now, we use so little cereal that I have to make sure to date the boxes when I open them so I can throw them out when I am supposed to.
