What are some hair dying kits that are safe for pregnant women?
My natural hair color is auburn but I colored it a dark brown about a year ago and I've kept it that way. Problem is, since my natural color is lighter, my roots show pretty badly (they've gotten a bit darker than original but still show pretty obviously). I've tried avoiding coloring my hair since I found out I was pregnant but my roots are starting to get pretty obvious. I know that they have a lot of chemicals in them, but are there any at-home hair coloring kits that have no chemicals or are organic, or in any way safe for me to use? I just want to make sure they won't harm my baby.

There is nothing to suggest that hairdye will harm your baby - hairdressers work around hairdye right up until their due dates with no problem.
Most people avoid dying in the first trimester, as that's when your unborn baby is thought to be at it's most vulnerable. The thing is though, your hormones are completely out of whack during pregnancy, so a hairdye that previously worked fine might turn your hair green when you're pregnant
If I were you I would wait until you're well past 12 weeks, then do a strand test. If it turns out ok, get one of those 10-minute colours and just put it on your roots. That way, it's not in contact with your skin for as long as some dyes (up to 45 minutes in my experience)
