Do you have a 9-10 month old baby?
Hi my son will be 10 months old on the 1st of May and i just wanted to know who else out there has a child of a similar age so we can compare problems and handy tips.
I want to know how your baby sleeps
how much and what do they eat
stuff like that, here is a bit about my son-
6:00am 6oz milk
Small bowl of porridge
Slice of toast (most goes down the high chair)
9:00am Water offered with fruit or a few organic cheese puffs
10:00am Nap
12:00 or 12:30 Lunch Offered Milk (finger foods, fish cakes/chicken nuggets/ soft veg/pasta and fruit
Afternoon playtime Water offered and light snack (fruit or rusks)
5:00pm dinner ( meat and veg and fruit for pudding)
7:00pm 8oz milk then bed
All drinks are in sippy cups. Porridge is about 100g Lunch is whatever he will eat Dinner is 200g and so is pudding.
Bath every other night as ke gets dry skin
Falls asleep on his own but not a great sleeper and is up before 6am every day!
My son will be 10 months old on 13th May. His schedule is as follows:
8am - breastfeed + may have a couple of mouthfuls of my yoghurt.
10am - expressed breast milk if at day care (4 oz)
10.30am - may have a short nap if he's really tired
12 pm- breastfeed + couple of tablespoons of baby food or yoghurt
2.30pm - breastfeed then nap
4.30pm - breastfeed
5.00pm - awake, may feed again
6.30 pm - breastfeed + dinner - couple of tablespoons of baby food
8.30 pm - breastfeed
10 pm - bed - he falls asleep straight away.
My son then breastfeeds throughout the night. He is teething really badly at the moment, so I put him on the breast and this soothes him back to sleep. I've tried giving him more solids, but he is still happy on the breast. His favourite food is either yoghurt or spinach. I'm in England at the moment so am feeding him Plum Organic baby food, which he loves. I do feel a bit like a cow at the moment with so many feeds!
