Anyone change their baby to cows milk before 12 months?
my baby is 12 months on 6th of march...she eats very well three healthy meals a day and a couple of snacks..she has organic formula...mayber 4 or 5 bottles in 24 hours...she is in the highest precentile for both height and weight...do you think it would be ok to switch her over to cows milk now? She seems to like it..she has tasted it on cereal and also a small bottle of it the other day...I know they say 12 months but will a couple of weeks matter? I am so tired of spooning out endless powders! With a good diet of solids then cows milk should be ok?
My husband just chimed in that we should n't do it in his opinion..he thinks she would lose to many vitamins which are in formula...
Mine is one on the 12th March and is pretty much on cow's milk now.
I bought my last tub of formula 2 weeks ago and he had a week of mixed (half and half cows to formula) but for the last few days has had just cow's milk for his daytime drinks.
He still has pure formula for the bedtime bottle but that will stop once the last of the formula is gone.
He has three meals a day plus fruit snacks in-between.
