Feeding my baby solids!?
I have been exclusively breastfeeding for the 5 1/2 months that my daughter has been in this world. 
This week, I started some organic rice cereal mixed with breastmilk. The first couple days she did so well, like she knew what to do, I started to thinkin it up just a bit. Now she gags at the taste. I think it is the consistency, but I don't know. I'm wondering what you all think about instead of waiting till she is 6 months to add some fruit, can I do it now? Or should I wait for another couple weeks Should I maybe give her the organic oatmeal instead of the rice? Just some suggestions would be nice! Thanks so much!
Congrats on the breastfeeding!! As far as the cereal, I would just add more milk next time! She might not be ready for the thicker consistency yet! When introducing fruit and veggies I talked with my sons doctor first just to make sure they felt he was ready! So I suggest getting the okay from them first, which I think they will be fine with it as shes almost 6 months!! Best of luck!
