What is the best makeup to use on skin that needs lots of coverage?
I have pretty terrible skin - it's blotchy, scarred and zitty. I try to use as little makup as possible because I have a little baby and I don't want him all caked over w/ stuff every time I pick him up, besides I hate clammy makeup face. I try to only wear cover up on the blemishes or a tinted organic moistureiser w/ cover up but then my skin looks uneven and the cover up shows up as light patches in photos! Does anyone know good, sheer makeup that will cover up my bad skin but that doesn't look like a cakey mask? I would also prefer that it was organic and didn't test on animals.

For you, I'd recommend using the Inner Light liquid foundation. It has full coverage and is SPF 12. Apply it with a sponge all over your face and neck. Use just a dab of concealer where you might need a little extra help after foundation, and setting it with the Inner Light pressed powder.
For best results, try using a primer before your foundation. Smashbox Photo Finish primer is the best, by far. It's not organic, but it is cruelty free. It will help, well, prime your face. It will even out the tone and texture of your skin. The purple toned primer will help to brighten your skin so it looks more naturally radient.
