eating questions for a 1 year old.?
My daughter just turned one on the 3rd! She has been eating softer foods (stage 2 and 3) and her bottles. I have been reading that when they turn 1 you are suppose to switch them to whole milk?
She drinks about 6 to 8? (sometimes more) 6 oz organic formula bottles a day.
wakes up at 6 am -9 am
Breakfast she normally has organic boxed baby cereal/ oatmeal/ rice with cinnamon
Lunch she will have a big jar of baby organic stage 3 food.
and for dinner she will have another big jar of baby organic stage 3 food...or a bottle. sometimes both.
she is in bed by 7:30 pm
(she has a cleft palate on the inside of her mouth, doctors said she can eat big girl food now but only soft foods like pasta, ect)
What all should I feed her? What are your schedules? any tips would be great! (she is on organic food only!) Is there easy meals to pre cook foods and heat it up later for her? (like graduates foods or whatever they are called?, I would use those but they arent organic!)
Oh gosh, I'm trying to remember back that far! Lol(a whole year). We're not organic only, but I do prefer it. Can't remember what kind of heat and eat there is for that age, but if you have the time (not that it takes a lot, some people are just busier than others) you can make organic pasta dishes and protion them out and make your own heat and eats.
Also, my son at that age loved chunked avocados.
With the bottle, you can gradually switch her to milk. Like, do 4oz formula mixed w/ 2oz milk and then 4oz/4oz, etc.
I think Annie's has like canned spaghettio type canned food (if you have that brand where u live, not sure if it's national). That may be a good start too!
