is it just me, or are the songs way different than the first one. their first cd have crazier and funner songs. but their new cd has basically all mellow lovey songs. i still love the cd, but i really wish they would have had songs like on their first album. anyone else with comments?
I agree. The second album is way slower and has many more ballads (none of which compare to Stickwitu) . Their new album is pretty ok but very tough to follow the debut... I much prefer their first album, much more faster, clubbier catchy dance songs. The only song from Doll Domination that is similar is "When I Grow Up". I like "what you think about that" and "hate this part right here" enough to have downloaded them but not as much as the PCD album...
Also I think this album has much less sexual and promiscuous references (which i dont see any problem with). There are no such songs like Dont cha, Beep or Buttons which are their trademark songs and the ones they do best. I think they're trying to get rid of the "sexual eyecandy" label and sing more romantic songs. I much prefer the older album.
Although, this CD is good enough for me stay a loyal fan, and hopefully theyll continue to make music after this album...
